GB expects GrandNew to be busy all over the UK
The AW109 has been popular in the UK charter market, and is noted for its speed, range and comfort. Ops manager Andy Cunningham says it is sure to be snapped up for major social and sporting events this summer.
A comfortable and luxurious interior awaits.

GB Helicopters in the UK is set to take delivery of its second Leonardo Helicopters AW109 GrandNew this week. The new addition will join GB's well-established UK AOC which already boasts a fleet of nine twin engine helicopters consisting of several AS355N/NPs, a B429, an AW109SP and a S76C++.

The AW109 has been popular in the UK charter market, and is noted for its speed, range and comfort. While the aircraft will be primarily be based in the north west of England close to GB's headquarters, it is set to operate country wide and into northern Europe to facilitate its charter and owner requirements.

“We're very pleased to be welcoming a second GrandNew variant onto our fleet,” says ops manager Andy Cunningham. “The model has proven to be a favourite throughout our client base, and the aircraft has already been optioned for many of the major social and sporting events throughout the spring and summer calendar.”
