Jet Executive Challenger 600 adds long range dimension
Munich and Frankfurt-based Jet Executive, which boosted its fleet by purchasing a Challenger 600 from Premium Aviation at the end of 2007, is planning further development of its fleet.

Munich and Frankfurt-based Jet Executive, which boosted its fleet by purchasing a Challenger 600 from Premium Aviation at the end of 2007, is planning further development of its fleet.

"The aircraft was upgraded by a complete interior refurbishment and paint job together with technical upgrades over a three month period," reports the marketing and sales department's Guenter Krahe. "This is normal company policy for acquired aircraft but the Challenger 600 upgrade was significant because it is the first large cabin executive jet in the fleet. It offers a unique variety of seating configurations from 11 to 16 passengers in a state-of-the-art refurbished cabin with full galley, closed refreshment room and individual DVD players."

The aircraft, he says, has successfully performed its first commercial flights and "is ready to face the challenging market of European and worldwide individual charter traffic requirements." Jet Executive, operating as an air taxi operator since 1990, has expanded its fleet to six aircraft - a King Air B200, three Learjet 35As, a Learjet 55, and the Challenger 600. Krahe stresses: "These are all company owned, not managed for external owners only."

Jet Executive's charter offers include a commitment that confirmed and definite availability will normally be available in less than 30 minutes after booking. "Take off can be realised in no more than 90 minutes from confirmation," says Krahe. "The unusual range of different aircraft types in the fleet - from King Air up to Challenger - makes it possible to meet almost any customer demand. We find this ranges from landing at short runways close to final destinations with the King Air B200 up to performing worldwide charters for up to 16 clients." Four aircraft are based at Munich and the others at Frankfurt.
