AMAC Aerospace has been awarded several new maintenance contracts at its MRO facility in Basel, Switzerland.
As a Bombardier authorised service facility, AMAC will carry out the 500 hours due maintenance package for a privately-owned Global 6000. It will also perform an annual inspection on a privately-owned Gulfstream G450, and is soon to receive a BBJ Boeing B737 for a B2 inspection with due maintenance checks and service bulletins.
An ACJ340 recently arrived in the hangar for AOG support. AMAC accepted the request at short notice and the aircraft will be re-delivered on time. Also from the Airbus family, an A318 will enter AMAC's facility for a 1A and 2A due maintenance check. In addition, service bulletins and airworthiness directives will be carried out.
Additionally a head of state MD87 is scheduled to undergo a 1A check while out of phase tasks are also performed. The due maintenance on the McDonnell Douglas will be carried out over the next few weeks.
Another maintenance contract consists of a landing gear overhaul on an Airbus ACJ319 with service bulletins input for this spring. The due maintenance will be completed on the privately-owned aircraft along with a partial cabin refurbishment, where the soft materials will be renewed.
