London Stansted airport-based Inflite the Jet Centre is adding base maintenance capability for the Global Express series. Capability for both line and base MRO is now active under the company's EASA Part 145 organisation rating. Further applications are in process to add the BD700 series to all other existing national aviation authority capabilities that it holds.
“This is another important strategic step for Inflite the Jet Centre, following our acquisition of Bombardier MRO specialist Excellence Aviation early in 2019. This latest accreditation expands the portfolio of aircraft types we can support, and we look forward to working with and supporting more Global Express operators in Europe and the Middle East,” comments Alan Barnes, general manager.
With the now concluded integration of Excellence Aviation businesses, which include its CAMO and Part NCC aircraft management businesses, Inflite can offer expertise as a Bombardier Challenger and Global BD700 MRO business. “This equips us well to serve the demands for maintenance support on Bombardier platforms in the region, and at our London Stansted home too,” Barnes adds.
Inflite remains operational for base and line maintenance, as does Inflite's FBO, which is available to all corporate services.
Last week the FBO was pleased to return to normal service as the UK's football Premier League resumed. It also continues to provide governments with support during the COVID-19 crisis.
