Axis hopes clients will tilt towards CJ2
Axis Jet has a fleet that includes a Hawker, several Citations, two Premier Is and a number of King Airs. It is confident that a CJ2 will play a key role in meeting the ‘explosive demand’ it has encountered of late.
The CJ2 is a sought-after light jet.

Sacramento, Califonia-based Axis Jet has added a second Citation CJ2 to its air charter fleet. The CJ2 is a popular light jet that is known for its spacious cabin and favourable cruise speed. The operator also chose the aircraft for its efficient fuel burn, which is expected to save clients money. It has a 1,500 nm range and cruises at 415 kts.

“Our Part 135 charter fleet now consists of sixteen aircraft including a Hawker 850XP, a Citation CJ2+, a Citation CJ3+, a Citation XLS+, a Citation CJ4, two Premier Is, four King Air 350s, a King Air 300, a King Air 200 and a King Air C90B Blackhawk,” says Axis Jet dispatch manager Amber Pancaro. “The addition of the second CJ2 adds more capability to our charter service, which has seen explosive growth during the pandemic.”
