Abu Dhabi-based Falcon Aviation has signed a letter of intent with Airbus Helicopters for a VIP version of the H160. This version of the rotorcraft was announced at EBACE in Geneva last month. “The H160 is a natural choice as it embodies our standards of high quality, safety and innovation,” says COO Raman Oberoi. “The H160 is to set new standards for VIP travelling and we look forward to offering this exclusive aircraft to our loyal customers.”

Airbus Helicopters CEO Guillaume Faury is proud that Falcon has selected one of his company's latest products. “With the H160, our goal is to set the benchmark in a variety of mission segments, including private and business aviation. The market response to the aircraft has been very positive so far and we will ensure we match our customers' expectations.”

The H160 is designed to be sleek and offers low noise levels, good visibility with its panoramic windows, and stability in flight.

Falcon has also taken delivery of an offshore configured AW169 light intermediate twin. The operator is the first in the UAE to utilise the type and the first customer worldwide to use the aircraft for offshore oil and gas transportation.
