French charter and scheduled airline Twin Jet is continuing the integration of Beechcraft aircraft into its fleet after officially taking possession of a new Beechcraft 1900D. Its 13th aircraft from the American manufacturer means the company will be able to offer new regional routes.
“We are proud to have the ability to optimise our regular network with the arrival of a new Beechcraft 1900D,” says managing director Guillaume Collinot. “This confirms our leading position in the 19-seat sector.”
The company is in the process of modernising its entire fleet, and in December 2019 it agreed what it claims is the largest European avionics retrofit project with Honeywell/BendixKing for the installation of a latest generation avionics suite. Each of its aircraft will have wi-fi and satellite links, allowing internet access to passengers and crews.
“We are committed to transporting our passengers in optimal conditions,” adds Collinot. “Twin Jet is the only global operator of Beechcraft 1900D to have signed such a contract.”
